What do you say to the patron who says, "You take a nice picture."
( He said this while looking from me to my badge, while I was searching the online catalog.)
My reply,"Um yeah, thanks!"
What was going through my mind was, "So, does this mean I look horrible in person?"
The way in which he said it didn't sound complimentary to me.

Knowing me I would have said, "and what is that supposed to mean" Especially if I thought he was trying to be smart and especially if I didn't think he was all that cute anyway.
LOL...I agree with trina I would have said the same thing like wow do i look ugly in person LOL
@Trina, I was slipping, because I normally have a quick response. I was shocked. AND, yes, he was short and ugly.
