That's what a patron asked me today. What he actually said was........
"Don"t you just love your job? It just seems like so much fun."
I said, "Um, no!"
Patron: "Why not?"
Me: "It's actually a mixture between a halfway house and a homeless shelter."

Funny, I've never thought as that as a fun occupation. Especially not with the characters you deal with on a daily basis.
I get my fair share of crazies working in an academic law library so I can only imagine what goes on there. Well actually you fill us in quite well and I know I couldn't hang. LOL

I can imagine that a law library would get odd ducks that have an interest in law. I worked in Academic libraries for 5 years, so I do know that you get some of the weird people, but it's limited.
